Mohammed Shahid Ullah

Mohammed Shahid Ullah is the Managing Director of Betopia PulseGrid Ltd., bringing over 30 years of distinguished leadership in Bangladesh’s power and energy sector, along with four years of experience in other industries.

A highly respected finance professional, Mr. Shahid is both a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA). His career spans senior executive positions across some of the country’s most prominent state-owned and independent power companies.

Before joining PulseGrid, he served as the Executive Director (Finance) at the Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh Limited (CPGCBL). Earlier, he was the Director of Finance at Ashuganj Power Station Company Ltd. (APSCL) for over a decade, and prior to that, he spent more than 10 years at the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) as a senior official. Across these roles, he was instrumental in financial planning, project evaluation, investment strategies, and operational reform in Bangladesh’s power sector.

As Managing Director of Betopia PulseGrid Ltd., he is responsible for defining strategic direction, ensuring financial discipline, and leading operational execution. Under his leadership, PulseGrid is committed to delivering sustainable, high-impact energy and infrastructure projects that support Bangladesh’s long-term national development objectives.
